The terms and conditions of the Fit for Duty Program (the Program) apply to the use of the Fit for Duty website and mobile site (https://letsjoinforces.wa.gov.au/help-hub/fit-for-duty), and associated applications or information made available by us.
While due care has been taken in the preparation of the content of the Program we make no representations regarding the accuracy, currency or reliability of the information provided, and note there may be errors, omissions and typographical errors contained in the material provided.
The Fit for Duty website and the material it contains are provided on an as-is basis, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties. In addition we do not warrant that this website is error free or that the website and/or the servers it is hosted on are free of viruses, Trojans or other malicious software.
Your use of the Program is at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, we and all our employees, agents, and contractors are excluded from liability (including from liability by reason of negligence) for any loss, damage, cost or expense, whether direct, indirect, consequential or specific, caused by use of or reliance on the Program.
Health and medical
Information provided by the Program is made available for the benefit of the public and is not intended to replace medical advice from a health professional. We encourage you to seek advice from a qualified health care professional before you make changes to your exercise habits. We do not accept liability for any error or omission, injury, expense, loss or damage incurred by you or another party as a result of you using or relying upon any information provided by this Program.
Disclaimer
If you’ve been inactive for a while, have injuries, are pregnant, or have a personal or family history of heart disease or other major health problems, please check with your GP, an Accredited Exercise Physiologist or other health professional before following the workout(s) in the Program. All bodies are different and not every exercise included in the Program will be suitable for everyone. When completing exercises, take note of any safety precautions provided, focus on good technique, and stop immediately if something doesn’t feel right. While the Program has been developed with your health and safety in mind, please be aware that any exercise program has the potential to result in injury.
