If you have been away from the WA Police Force for more than two years, you will be required to undertake some training modules and courses at the WA Police Academy.

The Recruitment Process
Our recruitment process is comprehensive and competitive to ensure we vet the best people. You'll undergo checks, assessments, evaluations and interviews.
From submitting your application to awaiting academy placement can take four to six months. -

Training
Returning Police Officers may be required to complete training at the WA Police Academy. Training requirements will be determined by your previous years of service and rank.
