The Recruitment Process
Our recruitment process is comprehensive and competitive to ensure we vet the best people. You'll undergo checks, assessments, evaluations and interviews.

Training at the Academy
You'll begin your policing journey as a recruit at the WA Police Academy, undergoing 28-weeks of extensive and varied training, delivered by our supportive and knowledgeable police trainers and experts.
Time: 28 weeks -
04
On The Job
When you graduate from the WA Police Academy, you'll start out as a Probationary Constable. Over the next 18 months, you'll gain experience in a number of areas and put your training into practice.
