Eligibility & Recruitment
Our recruitment process is comprehensive and competitive to ensure we vet the best people. You'll undergo checks, assessments, evaluations and interviews to determine if you're a fit for the job.
Time: 4-6 months -

Training at the Academy
You'll begin your policing journey as a recruit at the WA Police Academy, undergoing 28-weeks of extensive and varied training, delivered by our supportive and knowledgeable police trainers and experts.
Time: 28 weeks -
03
On The Job
When you graduate from the WA Police Academy, you'll start out as a Probationary Constable. Over the next 18 months, you'll gain experience in a number of areas and put your training into practice.
Time: 18 months -
