Once you graduate from the WA Police Academy, you will be subject to a six-month probationary period.
Where will I be placed?
Police Officers are posted to a metropolitan or regional location. You will need to be prepared to serve anywhere within Western Australia. Many Police Officers rate country service as a career highlight. It's also a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in regional communities and develop your skills.
If you're considering a move to Western Australia as a Police Officer, just do it. Joining the WA Police Force is a fantastic opportunity to really help people and make a difference.
I transferred from The UK in 2018, although there are a lot of similarities in policing, I enjoy it more here in Western Australia.
