Great news!

You appear to meet the basic requirements for admission into the WA Police Force. Please note that any body art, such as tattoos, or body modifications will need to be assessed upon applying. You will also need to complete an Integrity Declaration to ensure you meet the standards of ethical and professional conduct required by the WA Police Force.

The WA Police Force has no tolerance for illicit or illegal drug use, which includes the misuse of prescription and over the counter drugs by an employee, either in their work or private life. All applicants will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing during the recruitment process and throughout employment if appointed.

More to the job than you may think

Policing in WA is much more than what it appears at first glance. Enforcing the law is only one aspect of the job.

Applicants undergo physical and psychological training to develop the skills required for the job.

As a police officer, you have so many ways of giving back to society and make things better for everyone. I recently had a member of the public come up to me, give me a hug and tell me how good a job I'm doing in the community; a real heart warming highlight of my policing career so far.
