04. On the Job
You may be subjected to a probationary period based on your previous experience and time away from the WA Police Force. Once you have completed your probationary period, you will be permanently appointed and can resume your career climbing the ranks or move into specialised units.
Returning officers will resume their most recent rank up to Senior Constable if they rejoin within 2-5 years from their departure.
