Looking for a new beat? The Western Australia Police Force is accepting applications from current Police Officers in the United Kingdom and Ireland to make the jump and join our team.
If you are an Operational Police Officer in a compatible jurisdiction who has served over 3 years, you may be able to apply to become a Transitional Officer with the WA Police Force. Check your eligibility, prepare your supporting documents, then start by submitting your application online today.
We recognise you met a wide range of requirements when you first became a Police Officer. For transitional officers joining us from interstate or overseas, we ask that you meet an updated set of criteria to support your move to the WA Police Force.
We recognise you’ve already completed a rigorous application process to become a Police Officer. For transitional officers joining from overseas, we carry out a few checks to ensure you’re the right fit for our team.
If your application to join the WA Police Force is successful, you'll be offered a 13-week transitional training course at the WA Police Academy in Joondalup.
When you've successfully completed your 13-week training course you'll be given a placement during your probationary period.
