Check if you're eligible
We know you met a variety of criteria when initially becoming a Police Officer however we need you to ensure you meet a short list of criteria to transition to the WA Police Force.

The Recruitment Process
We understand you have already been through a rigorous application process when you first became a Police Officer, however we just need to undergo some checks to ensure you are the right fit for our team.

Training at the Academy
If your application to join the WA Police Force is successful, you'll be offered a 13-week transitional training course at the WA Police Academy in Joondalup.
13 weeks training -
04
On the Job
When you successfully complete your 13-week training course you will be ready for the job.
6 months probation -
