Yesterday morning we celebrated the wonderful, dedicated work of the entire Police Force, in particular the winners and finalists of the 2024 Recognition of Excellence Awards!
Ten teams and eight individuals received Recognition of Excellence Awards at yesterday's breakfast event at the Maali, at Perth Zoo.
The event was the conclusion to WA Police Force’s first Recognition of Excellence Awards.
WA Police Commissioner Col Blanch congratulated the winners and thanked them for their commitment to the community and the agency itself.
“Whether it’s protecting our community during times of crisis, finding answers for the loved ones of missing people, or hunting down the state’s most prolific predators – each of these winners represent the very best of the WA Police Force,” Commissioner Blanch said.
Congratulations to Detective Sergeant Herod and Kellerberrin Police Station for taking out the Individual and Team Brilliance Awards respectively.
The WA Police Force is more than just a job, it’s a rewarding career where no two days will ever be the same. It is a job where you can go home at the end of the day knowing you have made a difference.
