The Western Australia Police Force International Recruitment team recently travelled to the UK and Ireland to meet police officers looking to make the move.
The Western Australia Police Force recently held 14 information sessions across four major cities in the United Kingdom and Ireland, as part of their Labour Agreement with the Government of Western Australia to recruit police officers internationally.
The events were held in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Dublin from 26 February to 7 March 2023 and attracted over 1,100 registered attendees looking for new opportunities in law enforcement.
During these sessions, our International Recruitment team provided valuable insights into the application process, training requirements, and the overall recruitment journey, including tips on how to prepare for the move to our great State.
Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions about the agency, the work culture, lifestyle, and what it's like to live and work in Western Australia. They also learnt more about the exciting and unique experiences that come with working in the largest policing jurisdiction in the world.
